Dr. Yi Ting (Kayla) Lien previously served as a Senior Scientist in Clinical Pharmacology (Modeling and Simulation) at Genentech, focusing on oncology therapeutics. She led modeling and simulation (M&S) efforts for both small and large molecules, supporting clinical development through analyses such as PBPK, POPPK, ER, and TGI-OS.
Dr. Lien earned her BS and MS in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University at Buffalo and a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from the University of Florida. Her doctoral research focused on PBPK/PD modeling and quantitative systems pharmacology (QSP) for dose optimization. Supported by ORISE fellowships at the FDA, her work received multiple accolades, including the Quality Trainee Award at ACoP8.
An active leader in the scientific community, Dr. Lien has held key roles such as ACoP and ACCP Programming Committee, ACoP Project Manager, and session chair at conferences including QSP workshops at ACCP and ISoP symposiums. She serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Clinical Pharmacology and contributes to scientific programming for ACCP and ACoP. Her leadership has been recognized with the ACCP 2023 Leadership Development Program Award and the ACoP2023 Unsung Hero Award.
