Yuchen Guo is a final-year PhD Candidate at the Leiden Academic Center for Drug Research, Leiden University. Her work focuses on optimizing lung infection treatments in cystic fibrosis using quantitative pharmacology and copula-based virtual population simulation. Her experience involves population PK/PD modelling, patient simulation methodologies, and count data and spatial modeling. She is passionate about translating modeling insights into practice, and helped lead the organization of a well-received workshop at PAGE 2024, and developed tools including an R Shiny app and a package to support her research’s impact. She actively seeks opportunities to collaborate with professionals in quantitative research and to contribute to advancements in pharmaceutical development.
