Brief Bio:
Timothy Nicholas is the Inflammation, Immunology, and Internal Medicine Pharmacometrics Group Leader within the Pharmacometrics and Systems Pharmacology organization at Pfizer. His group supports model informed drug development (MIDD) through innovative pharmacometric strategy and application from first in human/patient through approval and into post-marketing. He received his B.S. from University of California at Berkeley, a M.S. in Clinical Science from San Francisco State University, and a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from University of Connecticut. Timothy has worked in the field of quantitative pharmacology for a myriad of pharmaceutical companies over the past 25+ years. Areas of interest are applications of modeling to pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) and longitudinal disease progression data, clinical trial design through simulation, model based meta-analysis (MBMA), artificial intelligence and machine learning (AIML), and process automation.
