Karyn Sutton, PhD, is an Associate Director, Pharmacometrics at Bristol Myers Squibb, where she develops mechanistic models and appropriate analytical solutions to provide timely insight into drug development decisions. Prior to joining the industry, Karyn worked to support global health decision making at the Institute for Disease Modeling in Seattle, after having left her position as a tenured Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She worked as a postdoctoral research associateship at the Center for Research in Scientific Computation at North Carolina State University, after having earned her PhD in Mathematics at Arizona State University.
